Many people do not understand me when I speak with concern that I see spread anti-scientific attitudes in society (and of which the various plots are just one facet, even very important). "What do you care?" I say, "What do you care, so do not do anything wrong, it's just a harmless oddity ...".
Sometimes even I am tempted to think so, to let go, thinking about my case and stop wasting time on these delusions ...
Then something happens and I realize that the premise is wrong. This ignorance rampant scientific, this new brand of obscurantism is not harmless. Born in its shadow and thrive squalid and evil characters that take advantage of the naivety and misinformation of the people for their sinister purposes. Sometimes the consequences are tragic.
... One of these 'people' ... it is such a Tullio Simoncini (no, I have not forgotten the case ...), and a former doctor struck repeatedly condemned who claims to believe that Cancer is actually a fungus and to be able to 'cure' with baking soda and other remedies 'natural', arguing its case with manipulation and various lies. Of course, like a script of the charlatan con artist, he does not fail to call himself a 'persecuted' by the 'medicine' and 'evil corporations'. Worse, though, is that he encourages his patients to abandon treatment effectiveness documented rely on his magic potions (since these are at the end ...). The undersigned is not clinically 'biologist, but just a smattering of these two sciences to understand the absurdity of it all.
The strategy is clear, at least for me: to leverage on fear and desperation of those we see suffering from a serious evil, to offer false hope of 'easy' and 'safe' healing exploiting ignorance. Unfortunately, many fall for it and sometimes the consequences are tragic. Even worse, around the 'healer' sometimes created a 'movement', a 'court' of 'followers' who defend the 'guru' of all the evidence and respond by attacking and insulting anyone who dares to question the 'truth' ... even When someone dares to raise objection is someone who is committed to the 'master' and is now paying with their lives for their faith.

It seems that the poor is now dead. I can not even imagine the feelings of the victim when, now aware of being sentenced, he is seen attacking the 'friends' naturopaths (who with their delusional 'tips' have contributed to his death!) For daring to demand accountability 'doctor' of its falsity. For them I feel equal contempt, if not more, than I feel for the 'Doctor' Simoncini.
