1. Trace contaminants in wastewater: the case of endocrine disruptors
1.1 FEATURES AND DEFINITIONS
In the industrialized world of the twenty-first century, some chemicals that come from the use and disposal of uncontrolled resins, solvents, detergents, food, plastics, adhesives, paints, dyes, solvents, cosmetics, home accessories, toys and products for children may accumulate in the environment and pose a significant risk to human health because it can interfere with the functioning of endocrine systems. The substances referred to are countless and poorly biodegradable, accumulate, and persist in the environment due to their nature poorly polar-polar or otherwise tend to be concentrated in body fluids and tissues rich in animal fats such as milk and meat. Unlike occupational exposure "classical" in which people are exposed to large amounts of individual substances known, the absorption occurs in the general population unknowingly, many times because these compounds are odorless, colorless, low-dose exposure is, compounds are different and the accumulation is continuous and "silent". Internationally, endocrine disruptors are defined as "any exogenous agent that interferes with the production, release, transport, metabolism, binding, action and the elimination of natural hormones in the body responsible for maintaining homeostasis and regulation of developmental processes. "This definition, however, dates back to 1996, appears to be whooping and verbose. For this reason, in May 1997, the task force on endocrine disrupters in the U.S. Evironmental Protection Agency ( EDSTAC ) was agreed on the following definition: "An endocrine disruptor is an exogenous chemical substance or mixture that alters the functioning of endocrine system and consequently cause adverse effects on an organism, its progeny or (sub) population. " Although many interfering Endocrine be released into the atmosphere as a result of combustion (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, dioxins etc.). the main sectors in which the EDCs are found are groundwater and surface water and foods. The urban sewage and industrial especially those containing a multitude of persistent organic compounds derived from industrial and domestic applications. Recently, the presence of EDCs was also reflected in municipal sewage treatment plants.

1.2 The main EDCs: general description and

1.2.1 Alkylphenol ethoxylates
alkylphenol ethoxylates are one of the largest groups of chemical compounds. They are used in many domestic and industrial applications and can cause sewage treatment plants or the environment due to bacterial degradation, alkylphenol polyethoxylate: for example, nonylphenol (NP), nonylphenol mono-and di-ethoxylate (NP1EO and NP2EO) nonylphenol carboxylates (NpnECs) (fig 1) are generally found all'inerno treatment plants.

Fig 1 Process of degradation of apnea in the aquatic environment.

ozone. Part I: direct reaction . Chemosphere, 68, 1163-1172.)
r epresentation one of the most important categories among the EDCs. In fact, as you can see in Figure 2 the structure of Nonylphenol is very similar to the general formula of sex hormones. Alkylphenols show estrogenic activity only if the alkyl chain is in position para and in any case with the alkyl chain alkyl with less than 4 atoms carbon are inactive (Lintelmann et al. 2003) The alkyl compounds are hydrophobic, the solubility increases with 'increase of ethoxyl group, the toxicity in the aquatic environment is higher with a low number of ethoxy groups and a greater length of the hydrophobic chain. Consequently nonylphenol (NP) and octylphenol (OP), but also alkyl carboxylates are known to be more toxic than their precursors ethoxylates. With regard to the toxicity in the aquatic environment, it turns out to be higher with a low number of ethoxyl groups and with a greater length of the hydrophobic chain. Because of their lipophilicity and persistence, the APs have a relatively high bioconcentration factors and tend to bioaccumulate in aquatic organisms, both vertebrates and invertebrates, causing an increase in river pollution. Are considered ubiquitous contaminants of the aquatic environment, where they tend to be associated with particulates and sediments (Auriol et al., 2006; Bertanza and Pedrazzani, 2006; Fountoulakis et al., 2005). Specific attention they deserve in vivo studies on endocrine effects in teleosts. In particular, both through experimental observations in the field tests are consequences were identified on reproduction and development due to estrogenic activity. In most studies, these effects were observed at concentrations of 10-20 g / L. In male trout (Onchorinchus mykiss) exposed to NP, there was a No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) of 5.02 g / L for the increase in plasma vitellogenin. However, a NOEC for the effects of estrogen has not been determined yet for octylphenol as increases in plasma vitellogenin and testicular atrophy were observed even at concentrations of 3 g / L. Planas et al. (2002) argue that the aquatic toxicity of NPnEO varies according to the organism in question and the number ethoxyl groups added to the molecule of NP: NP,
NP1EO, NP2EO, and NP1EC NP2EC compounds are more toxic and persistent. In particular NP1EO, NP2EO and NP are hydrophobic and are found mainly in the solid particles are hydrophilic and NPnEO are detected predominantly in the aqueous phase. In Canada, the concentration of NP considered to be critical towards the environment and was fixed in 1 Jg / L (Sabik et al., 2004).
A risk scenario can be derived from those data and to those on fish consumption for the Italian population, produced by the National Institute of Nutrition (1995). Based on the assumptions:
 • that the full rate of fish consumed is made up of only shellfish;
 • that the rate of contamination is at levels equal to the highest found in molluschiesaminati (700 g / kg);
 • c he considered the population is made up of high consumers (95th percentile) for which ilconsumo of fish and was estimated to be approximately 120 g / person / day (while stood taleconsumo for the general population of about 40 g / person / day);

resulting daily intake of about 80 g, approximately 1 , 3 g / kg body weight. Finally, based on available data, we estimate that the contribution of intake drinking water is much lower and probably represents less than 10% of intake in the diet. Overall, the levels of certain alkylphenols in fish of the Adriatic indicate a significant health risk for high consumers of these products.
1.2.2 Phenols and substituted phenols.
Phenols and substituted phenols are a broad category of substances used in various industrial and manufacturing fields, such as additives in plastics and rubbers. The compound most representative of this group, and also the most studied is found to be bisphenol A (BPA) (Fig. 3). The BPA because of its significant solubility in water, its low value of Henry's constant and appreciable values of Koc and log Kow, water is mainly implemented in the environment, is persistent and is adsorbed by organic matter. Can be degraded by microorganisms acclimated: The half-life depends on the environmental sphere and varies from about a week to a year. (Lintelmann et al., 2003).

BPA is one of the most important chemical compounds throughout the world: the release into the wild and in surface waters can occur by leaching from the final product. The potency of the estrogen BPA was evaluated by four orders of magnitude lower than the natural hormone E2 (17 β - estradiol) and equal to that of 4NP. Studies have shown that BPA can determianre alteration of a few cycles of mitotic aberrations in cells producing cromoscomi (Facker et al. 2000). It was also shown that BPA, when present in the linings of food cans can enter the product giving the same estrogenic activity, it can also be released from dental fillings and epoxy resins used to renew the water mains. Unlike what obtained alkylphenol ethoxylates, the study of degradation and by-products degradation has not achieved the results that can be considered definitive and more accepted. In reality, little is known about the byproducts of BPA. The main reason probably lies in the fact that, in the recent past, were not considered toxic or hazardous to the environment and organisms. Although the most recent publications are beginning to assume the effects of estrogen compounds that are derived from the degradation of BPA, in general the fate of BPA in wastewater treatment plants and the environment is still limited to the study of the presence of BPA itself. Within the group of phenols, chlorophenols, which also includes a group of organic substances are introduced into the environment Following a number of human activities, such as waste incineration, uncontrolled use of protective agents for wood, fungicides and herbicides, or as by-products of bleaching paper with chlorine and disinfection of water through chlorination. In particular, the 2,4-dichlorophenol has a key role in the synthesis of chlorinated herbicides such as 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) acid 2 - (2,4-diclorofenossi) propionic acid (2 ,4-DP) (Contreras et al., 2003).

1.2.3 natural and synthetic hormones.
The most important compounds present in municipal sewage that have estrogenic activity are naturally occurring hormones estrone (E1), 17 β - estradiol (E2), estriol (E3) and the synthetic hormone 17 β -ethinylestradiol (EE2) used for birth control. (Rudder et al. 2004; Liu et al. 2005). The hormones are excreted by humans and animals primarily in conjugated form, the deconjugation may occur in the environment leading to the reactivation of the substance or mixture for processing in a different (and Bertanza Pedrazzani, 2006). E1, E2, E3 are normally excreted from the body of women in varying amounts depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle and / or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
1.2.4 Polychlorinated
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) (Fig. 4) are classified as persistent organic pollutants ( POPs). The greater the degree of chlorination, the higher the lipophilicity and the tendency to accumulate, the less are the biodegradability and solubility in water. They tend to undergo bioaccumulation and biomagnification (Bertanza and Pedrazzani, 2006) The PCBs were used in the production of trasmormatori, accumulators, condensers, hydraulic oil additives to insecticides. Their use is banned since 1996 (Directive 96/59/EC).

1.2.5 Polychloro dibenzo-dioxins and furans
the polychlorinated-dibenzo-dioxins (PCDD) and polychlorinated-dibenzo-furans (PCDF ) are included in the list of POPs. They are not used in production processes, but may develop during the production or use of chlorine-containing compounds, for example in the production of herbicides, insect and disinfectants (Mantovani and Piccinini, 2005). The number of chlorine atoms affects the vapor pressure and water solubility. Because of their lipophilicity, they accumulate in aquatic organisms and the food chain.

1.2.6 Pesticides
in pesticides, includes all substances capable of control, limit, deny, or destroy living organisms (micro-animals, plants) which are regarded as harmful, or to oppose their development. Among the pesticides, those with endocrine disrupting effects may include aldrin, atrazine, benthiocarb, p, p'-DDT, p, p'-DDD, p, p'DDE, 2,4-D, dieldrin, endosulfan ( α, β ), endrin.

1.2.7 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons
PAHs, arise from incomplete combustion or pyrolysis of materials such as waste or fossil fuels. Solubility and decrease with increasing hydrophilicity of carbon atoms in the chain. Among those with suspected IPA endocrine disruptor effect is reminiscent of benzo (a) pyrene, benzo (a) anthracene and fluoranthene. (Fig. 6)

1.2.8 Phthalates
Phthalates ( PAES) are used industry as additives for plastics because of their excellent properties (such as increased flexibility) and their compatibility with the vinyl and other polymers. They are also used in the production of paper, cardboard, foam, capacitors (as dielectric) and wood (as protective agents), it is possible to infer the composition of phthalates in polyvinyl chloride (PVC), coatings, paints, glues and adhesives, cosmetics ( nail polish) dye, shampoo and bubble bath. Among the phthalates considered endocrine disruptors can remember butyl-2-ethylhexyl acrylate, butylbenzylphthalate, diisottilftalato, and dimetilpropilftalato dipropilftalato

1.2.9 Organotin compounds
Organotin compounds (OTs) play a key role in the chemical industry of the past few years, they are used as a stabilizer for light and heat, such as anti-fouling, moth repellents, disinfectants. Although widely used, is still on them today is difficult to obtain precise data on their toxicology and ecotoxicology.

NOTE: This is an introductory part of broader research work, for questions, concerns or reliability of analytical, are available upon request full data.

Dr. Scott ... Its good smoke! SHAME

Not only rice. Those of the Scotti, Pavia, have become even traffickers rubbish. Worse, the manager of the Lombard, that of the spot, "Dr. Scott", burned illegally waste, including hazardous and harmful, potentially spreading toxic fumes in the air of Pavia and environs. And what remained were sold to the farms and herds of pigs and chickens.
All this for years, at least from 2007 to 2009, and huge quantities, more than 33 thousand tons. These are the accusations that led to the arrest yesterday of George Root, president of Scotti energy and six other people, including two lab technicians, and Marco Baldi Silvia Canevari. The latter, according to the reconstruction of the investigators, would have provided false certificates of analysis attesting to compliance with the law of the refuse derived fuel energy used in the incinerator of the Scotti, who was put attached. Yesterday's, however, could be just the first act of an even wider.
The last of the series, July 5, published by the Republic with a title that says it all: "Scott grains to bits: Rice points to the Web." No waste, then. Even if budgets in hand, it is the garbage, burned, incinerated and converted into energy, to ensure good portion of the profits of the Scotti. But, you know, sometimes the waste does not make the news. Especially when associated with a judicial inquiry that lifts the veil on trades that endanger public health. Then, when the company involved annually invests many millions in advertising, then it is the case not to waste space. Down the curtain, Dr. Scott leaves the scene.

In the beginning was the husk. That is the difference (biological) in the processing of rice, which can be burned to produce energy. That is about ten years ago, Scott built a large incinerator close to the most important plant group in Pavia. Transforming biomass (rice husks) makes it into energy, also because the state (and therefore the citizens who pay bills increased) to buy electricity at prices set by the rules for so-called CIP 6. And here, the primary source of income for the Scotti. From
Pavia from 2005 to 2009 the company had received about 25 million of public money, but do not have their rights. Yeah, because at some point the husk has been partly replaced by all sorts of waste from industrial and municipal centers for the collection of garbage. So the incinerator are finished wood, plastics, packaging, sewage sludge. All rubbish that had concentrations of lead, nickel, cadmium and other metals well above the legal limits.
Apparently, however, no one ever noticed anything until the intervention of the judiciary. And remained still and silent too long the GSE (Electrical Services Manager), that the public entity that buys the energy produced by private individuals for the grid. Only on May 14 last year, the GSE has ordered a review sull'inceneritore. But the first negative result was subsequently corrected in a positive sense. Then go ahead with the incinerator, which has continued to pollute the air of Pavia. Alarms? No, because the smoke control unit malfunctioned and marked values so low as to be unbelievable. Apparently, however, to Scott there was no one noticed.

How Much Dobathroom Fans Cost

Cancel 36 years of questions, theories, evidence and retractions in the space of two or three minutes. "As the judge read the verdict, I went with the memory of those tragic moments in the square, and I felt a strong feeling that everything is done for absolutely nothing. "

Manlio Milani, chairman of the association
families of those killed in Piazza della Loggia and that on that tragic day he lost his wife and friends, shaking his head and lowers his voice. Tuesday afternoon, the verdict arrived as an ax to put an end to a chapter of history that Brescia and Italy do not want to forget.

And this ruling, "which affects negatively because I believe there were no elements for a solution different, "the city does not help to heal a wound still suffering. "The sentences, however, we must accept," he still had the strength to say that clear-eyed little man every day for these 36 years, including through the work of the House of Memory, he never stopped looking for the truth.

" Honestly I was expecting a different result," said Renato Zaltieri CISL, "because the judges did a great job. Certainly do not ask that the innocent are convicted, but now we are a long process that has not led to anything. "

The mayor Adriano Paroli said the news by expressing a "feeling of impotence. Because the city wanted two things, truth and justice, and will continue to look for them. "

The former mayor of Brescia Paolo Corsini , now deputy of the Democratic Party, expressed "shock and dismay at a decision which effectively ends the legal case concerning the massacre of Piazza della Loggia. It 'an irreparable insult to those who have fallen that morning in the square, their families, an offense that demeans the city and threatens to extinguish a desire for truth and justice that historical research and political opinion rather have long been satisfied. "

My comment is only one:

How To Unblock Stuff From School

"You're sick," BUT NOW A LITTLE 'LESS ...

jokingly I resume the post title above to present a series of statistics on the trend of "sick leave" following the introduction of Law 133/08, known as the "Reform Brunetta ( it's actually better known as the "anti- lazy" but I like the meaning.). Below the article.

discussed, challenged, criticized, but accepted with appreciation, the decree Brunetta, which has tightened controls on sick leave, seems to actually make some substantial change in the habits and behavior of government employees.

30 months after its approval, according to data collected from monitoring conducted by the Ministry for Public Administration and Innovation in collaboration with ISTAT, when comparing the month of September 2009 and the same period of 2010, the differences leap to the eye. Even for employees of institutions of Brescia. The calculation is based on surveys sent to 4485 general government, except for school divisions, universities, public safety and firefighters.

compared to the same month in 2009, to September, sick of civil servants fell by 4.4% (average days absence amounted to 0.8 per employee). They also highlighted reductions in both the events of sick leave exceeding 10 days (-12.4%) and absences for other reasons (-4.9%).
This as regards the overall results, looking instead to the reality of Brescia, running the comparison table, the most striking case of "newfound health" is the common Gussago , in which, in 12 months, the absences, which in 2009 had reached 94.7%, declined to touch 23.3% share.

behave as employees instead of Palazzo Loggia? The decrease in sick leave stood to 13.5%. Montichiari did better where the percentage rose to 41.8%. monitoring confirms that the law 133/2008 has significantly reduced the days of sick leave. The average reduction of sick leave of public employees per capita is in fact equal to about -35%.

This figure corresponds to 65,000 employees in more each year on the job. The rates of absenteeism in the public sector have been realigned so in the private sector: a success that, according to the ministry, resulting in higher quality and quantity goods and public services provided to citizens.

In the province, however, the common "healthier" are Bedizzole , passed -65% of sick leave, with an average of 0.12 days to the employee, Montichiari , as mentioned above, where the average per capita is the absence of 0, 55 days allowed, Villa Carcina (-39.1%), Gardone Val Trompia (-28.6%), Gussago (-23.3%), Brescia (-13.5%), Lumezzane (-7.1%).

As for other agencies, the Province of Brescia saw fewer permits to the extent of 18% (0.71 days per capita), the Civil a decrease of 14.4% and the company absences hospital " Mellino Mellini " Chiari -12.8 followed by a well-spaced values, the ' Hospital Desenzano del Garda (-2.9%).
examples not only virtuous, but also any entity, however, marked a deterioration. These include the common Calcinato (+ 2%) and Asl of Brescia (+4.6%).

Net surge of sick leave was recorded instead of the common Gavardo, with a percentage of 23.1%, ASL Vallecamonica Sebino, where the percentage rose to 38.4 points , the municipality of Sarezzo, where sick leave increased by 58% and the municipal administration to Lonato where absent due to illness rose by 88, 2%.
brunetta renato.jpg
Diversa also distribution of the phenomenon at the level of macro areas of the boot, ranging from -7.2% regions of the South - 1.2% of those of the North East
How do they behave rather employees of the ministries? Stand the data of the Ministry of Interior (-22.0%), than those of Labour and Social Policy (-10.8%), education (-10.5%), Infrastructure (-4.6 %), Justice (-4.1%) and of 'Economics and Finance (-3.9%) while recording an increase of the phenomenon at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (+2.3%), the Ministry of Economic Development (+2.7%) and for Arts and Culture (+3.1%).

Under the legislation introduced in 2008, the penalties provided for employee of a public administration that falsely certifying their attendance at work, or attesting to the lack of service using a false medical certificate can lead to imprisonment from one to five years and a fine ranging from 400 to 1600 €.

mistakes in order to present the reform, but not the substance, I think the Minister Brunetta has hit the mark, perhaps one of the ministries that are working more and trying to put Italy at the pace of other countries .

Side Effects From Colonoscopy

"You're sick!"

I hate to say the phrase "I told him," but I hate being laughed at when I make 'projections' future and everyone tells me "You're sick."

Two years ago, while everyone cheered for the loss resounding election of the flanges of the extreme left (currently in parliament are not RC, New PC, PCDL, SEL, Verdi), I argued, "Attention, all rejoice here, but there is nothing to rejoice, be excluded from the extreme left in the institutional debate, we'll find a way to make their voices heard, we risk going back to the dark years, the so-called ' years Lead '"

or I do not want to be a prophet of doom, but we must realize that we are experiencing social and the intensification going worse and worse.

Here I propose an article written by the legendary Gampaolo Pansa. can make people think.

kill a journalist when he returns home from work here is a horrible story we have already lived. In November 1977, Carlo Casalegno was killed in the lobby of her building in Turin, while returning from the "Print". One of the Red Brigades killer shot him from behind and then he went undisturbed. Sometimes the plan implemented by the killers included a reverse path: the journalist was coupled his way to work. In May 1980 it happened at Walter Tobagi. The same was done for Indro Montanelli. He too had to die and was saved because he was only wounded in the legs. Now, long after the season of blood of the seventies and eighties, has happened to Maurizio Belpietro. For him it was provided the same end as Casalegno: killed returning from a day's work in the drafting of "Free", at the center of Milan. Belpietro must have a guardian angel of those very careful. This angel has saved him, one of two policemen who were escorting him and the family of Maureen, his wife and children. Unfortunately could not stop the killer who managed to return from where he left in the dark. What reveals the failed murder Belpietro? First of all, the journalists returned to be the first victims of a possible new terrorism. For a simple fact: the figures are well known and do not have the formidable stocks of many VIPs of caste politics. Yet, in this society founded on average, they are risking more than others. Especially those that stand in the profession as they have the habit of writing and speaking clearly. For a duty to readers and publishers. And in deference to the newsroom. Never hypocritical since I know him, Belpietro has always been so. Used to say yes or no, and never something uncertain, the foggy, which is hypocritical in the middle with caution. For those who like information from secretive or Paraculo, those like him are bad actors. People who are at the forefront, think for themselves and write what he thinks right. Without bowing to anyone. Especially to the many Pennacchioni of Italian politics. Ras arrogant and mediocre that abound in both blocks, both majority and opposition. Here's the first lesson comes from this crime foiled by chance. The directors keep in mind the newspaper more involved in telling the judge and political chaos of today. From now on, must be very careful about what is happening around them. Many or few they are, are all at risk. Likely targets of a strategy that police and intelligence centers are required to disclose. I want to write it because I do not think that the failure was a crazy killer Belpietro isolated. Tartaglia armed with a sort of gun instead of a small marble cathedral. He had stalked some of the director of "Free", knew the terrain of the attack, which is the palace stairs, the location of the apartment. And he was so ready to kill by trying to couple the first police officer who appeared to him in the face. The second lesson concerns the bad air that blows in Italy for months. Yesterday morning, many friends called me to tell me that I had been right in reporting on "Free" and "reform," what was happening. All I said I'm not a soothsayer. And I do not think even smarter than many other colleagues. My only advantage is to have white hair and he had told the explosion of terrorism red and black in the seventies and eighties. It was the memory of a time covered in blood to make me smell, this 2010, the symptoms of a danger too similar to that at the time. All I did was add two and two together. And the result was terrific. We try to line up some signals. An economic crisis is not resolved and that risks becoming a social crisis, angry. A political system paralyzed in two blocks that are waged without restraint. Verbal and even bitterness in Parliament knows no bounds. The beginning of a manhunt that from September onwards has not had nearly stops. Culminated, before yesterday, with the attack on the secretary general of the CISL, which threatened to be killed by a rocket smoke. And yet a wage dispute increasingly exasperated, as the assault on the headquarters of the CISL in Treviglio, led by militants of the Fiom-CGIL. Finally, the many indications of blind partisanship that is growing on the left. And he considers an enemy who also runs a newspaper unwelcome, too outspoken, he writes articles, publishes books that the culture of post-Communist blacklist.
Irresponsibility
on this bloated mess of evil, irresponsible political figures emerge, capable only of playing with fire. I would have to do more than one name. But today I will not write because I would hear them screaming annoyance of not being the masterminds the attempt to kill Belpietro. These politicians have raised thousands of godchildren. The same people who now regret that the director of "Free" has not been deleted. And they wonder why they do not even Victor Felts are coupled. I confess that I write these notes with the intention discouraged. For nature I'm an optimist. Life has taught me that fear is useless. Yet I wonder what terrible increasingly changing our country is undergoing. Italy now seems to have become a political earthquake territory. Even in areas that have never experienced an earthquake. The tenants of Deputies and the Senate have not realized that they too big risk. But too many in the corridors of power the soil is dancing. A dance it is armed extremism, still largely unknown. Today it manifests itself as a rebel red, active in more than one city, with street battles and attacks on political events. But ready to raise his head, and revolvers, when we least expect it. It unfolded to become a terrorist and murderer. This is what happened last night in a quiet building in Milan. Only when rescued Belpietro and his escort. If a gun had not jammed, we would see at least the death of a police officer. I want to dedicate a final word to him and many police, carabinieri and financiers of the stocks. Precious men who risk their lives for wages very stingy. Even for them we must hope that Italy remains a peaceful country. It is not forced to rely on the sacrifice of too many guys in uniform.

How Long For Chlamydia To Infect

ADRO: The Alps, the sun, the Celts.

It seems only right to dedicate a post to what is happening these days.

relevant to the fact.

"After the controversy that has inflamed the province of Brescia on the canteen of the elementary school, Adro again to talk about himself. And, again, for an act relating to the school. Saturday there was, in fact, the inauguration of the new school campus dedicated to the constitutional and political scientist Gianfranco Miglio. Even before the structure and classrooms, however, the thing that struck most observers was the so-called sunshine of the Alps, known by all, maybe not with this name because it is the symbol of the Northern League. The logo of the party Lumbard appears a bit 'in many different ways. You see on the windows of the entrance of the nursery, where a series of stylized children holding hands in a row thanks to the logo Padano; you see on the roof of the building and is visible from both hills. But the sun of the Alps also appears on the baskets, mats on the entry, market stalls and even the signs asking you not to trample the flower beds. Another curiosity of the structure, strongly supported by Mayor Oscar Lancini Northern League and opened in the presence of the Regional Parliamentary Monica Rizzo and David Caparini are the crucified were fixed with cement in the walls. "

But if it is true that when we perceive an object or another in real life, what remains in our mind is none other than the image, here are some models in microvideo securing the concept.
1)

2)

3)

can well understand (and share or not) that the fact has produced a people's blood boil.

Minister Gelmini, chained equilibrium newspeak has simply stated that " political symbols should stay out of school." (Once the Pope was the slave of the Roman curia conservative, today's ministers are political balance of the feeble ...)

The coordinator of the Brescia PDL, Viviana Beccalossi, thus commented
"As a mother I would have serious doubts whether to attend to my son's school Adro. I think the mayor of Adro, an excess folklore, has undermined the image of a good initiative that we share and support. But, remember, was built with money from the government, not the Northern League. He wants the mayor to say that that symbol is not in the league. So the potential of destroying an important job for a needless controversy. E 'fools. I do politics since I was between the benches, but I remain convinced that this is the place to learn all the concepts as possible, while the rest must stay out the gates. A bill is the teaching of the Constitution and civic education account is politics. "

and now here we are my ideas.

Nothing to say, absolutely to the decision to name the school as a professor learned Mile, God forbid, a political scientist internationally renowned constitutional expert should be recalled and must be given the right "gratitude." But the "dedication" in the massacre that was done, there goes the water under the bridge. What do you tell the mayor of Adro, that symbol has everything but value of "folk", I'd like to remind the mayor of Adro, who made historical references to the roots "Celtic" and the Celtic culture which has influenced our culture in his opinion a pity that the Celts never arrived in london and even less settled. The so-called "sun of the Alps" is an ancient symbol, of course I remember the tradition and the Northern League party has chosen for this. It then became a symbol of his own prerogative. This is not the "pink camuna" which became a symbol of Lombardy, its culture, its history. I think it is absolutely worthless and meaningless such a transaction, on the other stupid and sterile. I would point out to Dr. Lancini, that it was his party, a battle of symbols "individual" and not share. Another explanation, should tell the mayor of Adro, that is experiencing a split personality. On one side is "cement" the crucifixes on the walls, but then print as well the sun of the Alps "memory" of the Celts. I would not be wrong but the two things "squeak" a little bit ... do not you think?!?
I also believe that the problem is an unheard-sterility, tell me the meaning of upholstered with a school of symbols? feel stronger? more leaguers? Lumbard more?

Agencys Who Accept Inexperienced Models

Nine Years Fa ..

September 11, 2001.
I remember everything about that day, I received the news fragmentary, the images I've seen.
There are people who still claims that the plane in that picture was not actually there. That passengers are not dead, leaving broken families, but are on some tropical beach to 'enjoy life'.
that those who have died by jumping from the Twin Towers, preferring the thirty-second loss to the most atrocious death by fire, in fact they were puppets seen clearly that the fire was 'stuff for nothin'.
Today I went to look at their blog and their sites, but I'm pretty sure they're 'celebrating' the anniversary in their own way.
does not matter. Today I do not mind them. Today I try to remember and appreciate that I am alive, that by sheer luck no one has broken my life or that of my loved ones in the name of this or that god. The simple luck of being born in the world right, and not having found it in a certain place at a certain time.
There will be time tomorrow to deal with looters. Not today. Today I will not.

"Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not succeed.
When the master of the house will rise and shut the door, stand outside and knocking at the door, saying, Lord, open to us. But he will answer: I do not know you, I do not know where you are.
Then you will say, 'We ate and drank in your presence and you taught in our streets.

What's The Difference Between Herpes And Impetigo

Noretta Rest in Peace. Your face was purgatory for years, for many years, the principals, officers and not the killers and their eyes swollen with tears of mothers, wives of the five martyrs of the Republic who died the tragic day of the kidnapping of our beloved Aldo. Rest in peace now that you can. Salutaci Aldo and tell him that he did not die in vain. Alemno as long as there is one man who will remember him and will try in vain to imitate him.

Brother Fax 8000p Manual

Rest In Peace "We had proposed a law very similar to the one being challenged"

Taken from Network:

"To read the statements by the former Dalem Fabrizio Rondolino about the eavesdropping order under discussion in Parliament is a question, but those of the main opposition party there are or are they doing? Yes, because the former Print signing of not mince his words, and when his first say one thing and then do another, not so much for subtle.

Those of Pd, in fact, are ready to take to the streets to protest against the "law" gag. "behavior has always been consistent with the principles professed by the Democrats? Stains: " We had proposed a law very similar to the one being challenged ", writes Rondolino on The Front Page, the blog of political analysis edited together with another ex Dalem, Claudio Velardi.

What are you referring? To the PD program 2008, one signed by Walter Veltroni. Well, that program is a proposed law on wiretapping that fits "with a good approximation to the bill under discussion in parliament," says Rondolino. Clearer than that.

And to avoid misunderstandings, we publish below the paragraph 4.4 b) program of Pd ( text here full) entitled "interception, no violation of individual rights" . You be the judge yourself:

"The instrument of the interception of telephone communications, computer and data is essential to combat organized crime and bring to justice those who commit the crimes of the greatest social, such as pedophilia and corruption. We must reconcile these aims with fundamental rights such as information and the right to privacy and the protection of the person.
The absolute prohibition on publication of all documentation relating to interception and requests and orders issued in of a precautionary measure until the end of the preliminary hearing, and investigation , serves to protect the fundamental rights of the citizen and the same investigations, which are often
compromised by the disclosure of improper pleadings.
E ' must identify in the public prosecutor responsible for the safekeeping of documents, drastically reducing the number of listening centers and determine criminal and administrative penalties much more stringent than the current to make them likely to be an effective deterrent to infringement of constitutionally protected rights. "

emphasizing the points that the proposals made in the Democratic Party election program coincide with those contained in the bill developed by the center, presenting the request made by the leaders of the center Rondolino: why the Democratic Party does not comply with the program and vote for the law?

And one might add, with a little 'of malice, but the center-left voters have never read the program of the Democratic Party?

When Should I Go Barefoot

REPORT "PISANU" MAFIA-ON COLLISION POLICY

ROME - "Over the years, culminating in the massacres of Mafia murders of judges Falcone and Borsellino, there was something very close to a deal between the state and Cosa Nostra." These are the considerations which it reached the President of the Parliamentary Anti-Mafia Commission, Giuseppe Pisanu, who illustrated the its report on "The great crimes and the massacres of the 1992-93 mafia." "It is reasonable to assume - he said - that in the season of great crimes and massacres there has been a convergence of interests between Cosa Nostra, other criminal organizations, the Masonic secret pieces diverted institutions, business and politics."

UNDERSTANDING - "But I think - wrote in his report the chairman of the Anti-Mafia Commission - that we can start from a preliminary, objective consideration: the frightening sequence of 1992-93 did so with a strategy of the mafia and terrorism, but produced different effects for if on the one hand this led to a loss of political-institutional as to cause concern to the Prime Minister in charge of the imminence of a coup, on the other side that led to a rise of repressive measures to induce the Cosa Nostra to review their choices and, ultimately, to take the away, so far no return, dell'inabissamento. In the space of this divergence is tangled interweaving between the mafia, politics, big business, occult, subversive groups and parts of the state that diverted more than once, and not just in those years, we have seen emerge from the bowels of the country. In reports by colleagues who have preceded us, emerges the need to constantly explore and understand the relationship from the beginning-political mafia. I intend to refer to those reports, but with a warning to me decisive. In the face of terrible events even less than that took place in Sicily, Florence, Milan and Rome, are juxtaposed, without melting, three truths: the judiciary, the political and historical one. They are based on research methods and sometimes on very different sources, with the consequence of giving rise to only partial and unsatisfactory results. This is inevitable in most cases. " The legal truth - said Pisanu - is contained in the investigation that led to the judgments of magistrates. They prevail in the gathering of evidence. This is a testimony, especially if he finds the guarantee from other persons. But this kind of truth leaves a bad taste in my mouth too scrupulous judges like the late Dr. Chelazzi: the magistrate may in fact find evidence of the guilt of a defendant, but impose a sentence no longer means making light, since they can remain shadow is in the general context is the internal connections of a criminal matter. Not to mention that the confessions of the defendants, beginning with repentance, they are often functional to grasp and take advantage of conveniences such as reduction of sentences or better prison conditions. The political truth - he continues - is one in which all of us are committed to try to explain to our constituents and to all Italians who ran the dangers of democracy in the years 1992-'93, and how we can prevent the recurrence of these deadly risks. The historical truth should be able to combine the political and judicial truth and establish a less partial and limited both. But even in this case, you should not encourage unrealistic. Historians working on archives and documents are also incomplete, biased, pre-selected. Until a decade ago, the archives of the police headquarters in Palermo were not available. When he fell the time constraint that made them inaccessible, historians have found that the mafia of all ranks, and at the end of the nineteenth and twentieth century, 'talking', were confronted and exchanged favors, established arrangements with informers, police officers and Quaestor. Whether or not they were 'negotiating' everyone is free to judge. We must also remember - Pisanu added - the same sources used by historians are the result of prior selection by those who pay documents to the Archives of the State, why not do it blindly, but carefully, keeping to himself that the materials deemed most sensitive in order to protect the public interest. "

DALL'ADDAURA the massacres - "Thanks to its features - watch the president Pisanu - the failed attempt all'Addaura can properly be regarded as the prologue of great crimes and massacres of the Mafia in 1992-93. As is well known June 21, 1989 in front of the villa on the cliffs inhabited by the judge Giovanni Falcone in all'Addaura promenade of Palermo, were found by agents of the stock diving equipment and a sports bag containing 58 sticks of explosives commanders distanza.Erano guests Dr . magistrates Falcone Swiss Carla Del Ponte and Charles Lehmann investigating facts on drugs and organized crime, which was responsible for the same territorial jurisdiction Dr. Falcone. Palermo was the target of the court, which has become the main reference point for all those who contrasted the Mafia organization. Its elimination would take physical a high symbolic value, punitive and preventative at the same time. The news of the scandal stirred up, controversy and even suspicion, maybe mafia of origin, a staging desired by the same Dr. Falcone. At the time the investigation is redirected to a command from the sea aboard a raft. But the hypothesis is questioned by recent statements of regret that Fontana has reconstructed in detail the facts assigning liability to some mobsters, including Anthony Madonia who had a house in the vicinity. Dell'Addaura The attack, however, is referred to in the Judgement of the Court of Palermo on April 4, 1996 condemning Dr. Bruno Contrada, already SISDE leader, for having facilitated the escape of the Professional Oliviero Tognoni, a recycler of proceeds of drug trafficking on behalf of the Mafia. He was investigated by the Swiss prosecutor Carla Del Ponte in Italy and by the investigating judge Giovanni Falcone who had interrogated several times together. Ms. Del Ponte also could therefore be included in the objective of the bombers. On stage dell'Addaura was also assumed that there are two agents of the State Police, Augustine Anthony and Emanuele Piazza, probably external collaborators of the intelligence services and security, and that a third agent called 'monster face'. A character similar to the latter was described by his father Augustine Agent who suspected as a possible accomplice in the killing of his son. The killing of Piazza would instead be ascribed to 'Cosa Nostra'. The tragic death of both agents different fuels speculation, but the present state of investigations is not possible to define their position and act in deductions. However, among so many ups and downs, now we can understand better the expression of Mr. Falcone, that 'refined minds' had developed the criminal plan. " LIMA

MURDER AND KILLING CAPACITY - "Two years later, March 12, 1992 - Pisanu continues in its report the Anti-Mafia Commission - is murdered, with a classic mafia ambush, Hon. Salvo Lima, a lawmaker and influential member of the European Christian Democrats. Thus began the sequence of very serious criminal acts of deliberate self-governing bodies 'Cosa Nostra' that bloodied Italy until the end of 1993, deeply disturbing public opinion and order holding of democratic life. The judiciary has clearly identified the instigators, the perpetrators and the motive for this crime. Lima was 'punished' as the main representative of the political group that the Sicilian had been unable to secure the necessary safeguards to the 'maxi-trial': the historical event record created by Falcone that, for the first time, had stripped the organization and working methods of the Cosa Nostra, threatened the very survival. The need to mitigate the results of the maxi-trial and the anti-mafia legislation constituted an obsession with Riina, the reason for triggering of political revenge, murder and the attack of the state. " "It is from there - passing Pisanu said the killing of Falcone - a fierce determination to May 23, 1993 was accomplished the Capaci massacre, which killed Giovanni Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo and escort Montinaro Antonio Rocco Di Cillo and Vito Schifani. The responsibilities of the crime of murder are been clearly identified and entered the top of 'Cosa Nostra'. In particular, it affirmed the responsibility of both the 'Regional Commission' and the 'Provincial Commission of Palermo', this implements the so-called 'theorem Buscetta' according to which there is full sharing of great crimes, as they correspond to the realization and the protection of vital interests of the organization. The motive of the massacre was embodied in the extraordinary personality of Mr. Falcone, at that time the holder of an office high-profile institutional and, before that, the protagonist of procedural measures that had led the mob to big defeat the maxi-trial. But despite the solid truth procedural question is, as noted in this hall the PNA Piero Grasso, because Cosa Nostra has never given up the attempt to assassinate Dr. Falcone easily in Rome and has instead preferred the solution much more complex and Capaci risky. It was only a show of military power? Or there were other motivations, such as, for example, suggests the disappearance of files from the computer of Mr. Falcone, Ministry of Justice? ".

the massacre of Via D'Amelio - "almost identical, both in setting mafia-terrorist, is running - continued the President of the Anti-Mafia Commission - is the 'massacre of Via D'Amelio'. On 19 July 1992, a violent explosion occurs in Palermo Via Mariano D'Amelio, causing the death of Paolo Borsellino, deputy prosecutor at the District Attorney of the Republic of Palermo, and escort Claudio Traina, Emanuela Loi, Agostino Catalano, Vincenzo Li Muli and Eddie Walter Cosina, as well as the wounding of many people and a general destruction of other property. The most serious attack produced the education of three different processes referred to as 'a Borsellino', 'Borsellino bis' and 'b Borsellino'. The first stems from the findings Technical sull'autobomba used for the attack and led quickly to the man who had commissioned the theft of the same car, Vincenzo Scarantino, the garage owner who had guarded and packed with TNT, Giuseppe Orofino, the technician checked the phone that he would ' user telephone family Borsellino, Pietro Scotto, and all "man of honor ', Salvatore Prophet, who would handle the preparatory phase of the attack. After his arrest and a prison term, the Scarantino began to collaborate with the justice system and among the accusations, retractions, confirmations and denials, made it possible to investigate also the two subsequent processes. Ultimately, in the first trial he was sentenced to life imprisonment Only the Prophet, while in the second and third were sentenced to life imprisonment and the other executors of the principals, all belonging to the Mafia and the military 'commission of the Cosa Nostra'. The motive was identified, albeit with some reservations, in two key areas: the revenge against one of the magistrates involved more effectively against 'Cosa Nostra', the prevention of any investigations against Paolo Borsellino was also underway regarding the death of his dearest friend Giovanni Falcone. Both lines can reconnect with the Capaci massacre because, as evidenced by various statements, the two murders had been approved jointly by 'What Our 'since the early eighties. That said - Pisanu noted - should be immediately clear that some fundamental aspects of the massacre are still unclear. In fact, the statements Spatuzza and parallel retraction of Scarantino have disrupted the initial reconstruction of the scene. To date we do not know the composition of the commando stragista, we know very little about the origin of the explosive used, the 'T4 or PETN plastic', and finally death seems the "red diary 'which, according to family members, the court inquired Borsellino and placed in the bag before going in Via D'Amelio. I note, however, that the new, more reliable reconstruction shifting the focus of the massacre of the mafia family boss Aglieri to that of Brancaccio, led by brothers Gravano, who have been convicted for the murders mainland in 1993. This confirms the continuity of the line of the Cosa Nostra stragista imposed by the dominant component and more violent than Riina, Bagarella, Brusca, and Madonia, precisely, the brothers grave. "

"The first investigations on Via D'Amelio - President Pisanu continued killing of Paolo Borsellino - have suffered significant forcing even by officials of the State Police related to the Secret Service. Now the question arises of whether these arose from the anxiety of forcing investigators to give a satisfying response to the public or upset if it arose from a deliberate purpose of screening. There are, at least for now, documented answers. On stage, however, reappear the shadows of the Secret Service. First of all, that of Dr. Lorenzo Narracci, who collaborated with Dr. Contrada, as an official of SISDE in Palermo, still in service to AISI, and apparently investigated in Caltanissetta. Gaspare Spatuzza him vaguely recognized photography as an outsider to the Cosa Nostra, while Massimo Ciancimino, a witness rather than discussed, he stated as a companion of the mysterious Mr. Franco and Carlo that he would assiduously followed his father Vito Ciancimino during the so-called 'Negotiation' between state and 'Cosa Nostra'. On the massacre in Via D'Amelio and the subsequent developments, the 'deal' had a significant impact. It is not easy to measure the flow rate because of the secrecy of ongoing investigations. As is known, it would be held between the then Colonel DC Mario Mori and his colleague Captain Giuseppe De Donno, on the one hand, and the former Mayor of Palermo Vito Ciancimino other. According to the prevailing view on the first contact was established in the space of time between the massacres of Capaci and Via D'Amelio and that lasted until December of 1992, virtually until the eve of the arrest of Riina took place January 16 next. Of these contacts - that their intentions were in investigating a daring operation - some authorities informed the two officers and institutional level. According to the hypothesis accusatory instead they entered into a genuine negotiation whereby 'Cosa Nostra' put an end to the massacres and get, in return, measures favorable to the organization. E 'likely - Pisanu notes - that Ciancimino has emphasized its role as a mediator between the Mafia and institutions with the idea of personal advantage from both sides. It is equally likely that the initiative of the Officers has been perceived by Cosa Nostra as the sign of the availability of areas of the institutions to come to terms with it, thus giving the impression to strike again to subdue any resistance. Brusca and Hooks say that Riina was wanting to up the tempo of the massacre in Via D'Amelio, so as to provide for the postponement of execution, already approved, important political figures. Judge Borsellino had now become the number one enemy of the Cosa Nostra and, moreover, would certainly have been contrary to the treaty: he was therefore a top priority. It must be said that the State's response was immediate and harsh, the exact opposite of what they could expect Cosa Nostra. Even in the hours immediately after the massacre, the Minister of Grace Martelli and Justice ordered the reopening of the prisons and transport Pianosa el'Asinara from Sicily around 250 'men of honor' to serve the sentence under the 41 bis. The next day, July 20, 1992, the same Minister, issue 325 other enforcement activities of 41a annually. On August 7, is rapidly converted into law the so-called Decree Martelli who had previously met with much resistance. Two months later, namely on 1 November 1992 are issued additional 567 enforcement of 41a with deadlines in November 1993 and January 1994. "

EXCEPT MURDER - "But the Cosa Nostra does not stop. Two months later - continues in his report the chairman of the Anti-Mafia Commission - is killed in Casteldaccia (PA) Ignazio Salvo, a powerful tax collector in Sicily, already arrested in 1984 with his cousin Nino for Mafia association. It 'another act of reckoning, which had already struck Lima and targeted several politicians, all guilty of having failed to save' Cosa Nostra 'from the devastating effects of the maxi-trial. But the individual performances are already planned for cancellations open the most bloody and politically subversive: that the production of indiscriminate terror across the country, with deadly attacks on artistic and cultural heritage. The sequence of seven operations stragista, concentrated with the top five in the space of just three months, has no precedent in Italy. " Pisanu reconstructs the events of that time: "At 21:40 on 14 May 1993 a bomb explodes at the intersection of Via Ruggero Faure and Via Boccioni in Rome soon after the passage of the car known presenter Maurizio Costanzo is fortunately unharmed. The blast injuring 24 people and damaging several vehicles and buildings. At 1.00 am on 27 May 1993 a violent explosion in Florence in Via dei Georgofili destroys a wing of the Tower of fleas, and other historic buildings nearby. Killed a traffic policeman Nencioni Fabrizio, his wife Angela, daughters Nadia and Catherine, the university student Dario Capolicchio. The wounded 37. At the Uffizi Gallery damage is very serious: three paintings forever lost and 173 damaged, 42 with 16 statues and busts. At 23:14 of the July 27, 1993 another powerful explosion in Via Palestro Milan, causes extensive damage to the Pavilion of Contemporary Art, the vehicles and surrounding buildings. Firefighters were killed Alessandro Ferrari, Carlo Pasotti, Swiss and Sergio, the traffic policeman Stefano Picerno Driss Moussafir immigrant. The wounded 12. At 23:58 of the July 27, 1993 a bomb explodes in the Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome, damaging the walls of the Basilica and the Lateran Palace, and the vehicles stationary or in transit nearby. A few minutes, a second explosion damaged the church of San Giorgio in Velabro in Rome, the surrounding buildings and vehicles parked or in transit. On 23 January 1994, a "Lancia Thema" padded with more than 120 kilograms of explosive is placed in the avenue of Gladiators in Rome, near the Olympic, at a point where at the end of public sports events, buses of the transit police service in the stadium. The car does not explode to the defective functioning of the mechanism of activation of the charge. On April 14, 1994 Finally, in Formello (Roma) is found a large quantity of explosives concealed on the side of Via Formellese, where the employee usually goes to Justice Salvatore Contorno who lives there. I note that the explosive used by Faure Street on is the same as Via D'Amelio: The plastic 'T4 or PETN'. Manufactured in Austria, United Kingdom, Sweden and the United States, 'T4' is not for sale in Italy and have included only our Armed Forces. Cosa Nostra had it in large amounts: in the first five episodes have just called it detonated 670 kg All of these facts, whose connection was obvious after a few days, were considered before the Court of Assizes of Florence, a city in which the massacre had caused the highest number of casualties. The new strategy of type terrorist attacks, indiscriminate attacks based on running out of Sicily, mainly against the national artistic heritage - concluded Pisanu - had, as a clarification process, the following immediate objectives: the repeal of the penal law with the isolation prison of the mafia; closing some prisons 'special' (Pianosa el'Asinara) sterilization of the legislation on 'collaborators of justice', the degradation of culture antimafia by removing his supporters considered a journalist. "

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS - In his final remarks to the report for the Commission Anti-Mafia President Pisanu riconsiera the facts "in light of the new elements that have emerged in different ways over the past two years." "The turning point of the political-military strategy of the Sicilian Mafia - he writes - is, therefore, 30 January 1992, when the Court of Cassation, the final answer to 'maxi-trial', rejects all appeals of the defense policy of dedicating the implicit responsibility of the 'Commission', the self-governing body of the Cosa Nostra. There he stops long 'pax mafia' started in the second half of the '80s and 'Cosa Nostra' immediately presents the bill to those who had not been able to protect the Association from the judicial storm. Salvatore Riina and his 'honorable men' did not matter whether the traditional referents, as Salvo Lima, had really done everything possible to keep the promises that mattered was simply that they were no longer able to discharge their duties at a crucial time for the life of the organization. Having exhausted their function, were no longer to live. It served, however, their death and that of those who, like judges Falcone and Borsellino, were on the opposite side, the main protagonists of the historic 'maxi-trial'. Seemed to vanish as the myth of his invincibility and impunity, these deaths had to prove to everyone that 'Cosa Nostra' was and remained, however, stronger than its enemies and also powerful friends who had turned their backs, strong enough to launch the state a reckless challenge. The strategic change 'Cosa Nostra' and the root of terrorist-subversive were taken immediately by the security chiefs. Already during the hearing of 11 June 1993 - Pisanu remember - the Chief of Police Prefect Parisi said to our committee: '(...) the involvement of mafia in recent criminal operations ... situabile that does not appear in a drawing even wider where macroscopic interests illicit profit system, management of agreements with other components and delinquent business, national and international, emerging with any evidence (...) '. Recently, former President of the Republic Oscar Luigi Scalfaro, said during an interview that in those days, the prefect of Paris' held in great regard to a report of the Mossad, according to which the world of the extreme right there was a strong push to destabilize the Italian situation, pointing also to the resignation of the Head of State '. In turn, Dr.. Gianni De Gennaro, then Director of the DIA, while acknowledging the context of the mafia massacre Via d'Amelio, could see 'evidence from to suspect that the whole project was not subversive of the exclusive management of the vertices of the Cosa Nostra, but that also might have contributed to other members of a larger criminal power. It was indeed evident in the Borsellino killing a clear anomaly in the traditional mafia behavior, who prefers to define their criminal actions so as to achieve maximum results with minimum damage, the crime had in fact been given every time that instead of accelerating the irresistible 'reactive action of the institutions, with a consequent and apparent damage to the criminal organization'. The analysis of Parisi and De Gennaro will subsequently repeated confirmations in judicial offices. "

"E 'therefore reasonable to assume - continues Pisanu - that in the season of great crimes and massacres there has been a convergence of interests between Cosa Nostra, other criminal organizations, the Masonic secret pieces diverted institutions, business and policy. This attitude has to enter in different combinations in the history of the mafia, and above all is the very nature of the Bourgeoisie mafia. Think about the failure of the coup Junio Valerio Borghese, the fake kidnapping of Michele Sindona, director Pippo Calo in the massacre of the 'fast 804'. That story tells us, in the familiar statement Buscetta, that 'the mob does not take orders from no ', is autonomous. His guiding star is utilitarianism, which is the real interest of the organization. The same Giovanni Falcone had explained to us that there are 'third level' of any kind can influence or even determine the addresses of 'Cosa Nostra', and that assume the existence of the central crime, and large older puppeteers who from dictate the agenda or pull the ranks of the mafia, is to sin of 'intellectual crudity'. Probably in the days when these claims was considered premature to judge the general fund go to the mafia-political analysis of the relationship. However, they are still now an inescapable reminder for those of us has a duty to establish facts on their evaluations. Now it is quite clear, as agreed by the judges and was confirmed by the uncertain copy of the mysterious 'Papello', the main objective, the ultimate goal of practical massacres of 1992-'93 was to force the state to abolish 41 bis and resize all the activities of prevention and repression. It was a high-stakes, because the 41 bis, the regulation of collaborators of justice and that the seizure of criminal assets, and have had such a subversive force to blow up the internal structures of the mafia and disrupt the entire organization in the long run. For this 'Cosa Nostra' is or tries to deal with the state. Today we have news on two talks quite clear: the 'abnormal contours' between Mori and Ciancimino that perhaps was the turning of a daring investigative activity, and that between Bellini-Joey-Brusca-Riina, who was born from the idea of attacking the artistic heritage of the State, having explained to his interlocutors that Bellini 'they killed a judge is replaced, killing a policeman is the same thing, but destroyed the Tower of Pisa, is destroyed something irreplaceable with incalculable harm to the State' (acts Court Florence Assizes). Recently, the then Minister of Justice reiterated that while Martelli the government was engaged in a confrontation with the mob 'there were other parts of the state than vice versa thought that things could be adjusted, if on the one hand, the mafia and renounced the terrorist strategy across the state out of my head the idea of bringing the final blow to Cosa Nostra '. For the former Minister Mancino there was no negotiation, 'we have always rejected ... as a simple idea of easing of the confrontation with the state carried out by the Mafia'. They are two different points of view and no less contradictory than it appears, because both emphasize the strangeness of the government to negotiate. But something - concludes Pisanu - we Cosa Nostra and was accompanied by the unprecedented displays of strength. "

"I want to report about it - says the chairman of the Anti-Mafia Commission - a unique correspondence of dates that is the case, since May of 1993, including the massacres on the mainland and the expiration of the three blocks 41a emitted into ' previous year. On May 27 a bomb exploded in Via dei Georgofili, less than a month after the end of the first measures taken by the Minister Martelli. It's the 'small blow ... to tease the other party' which spoke of Riina and Brusca? Or, in other words, a message intended to push for an application or restart a negotiation? The message, however, is not collected and in fact the 325 measures are extended by another year until 1994. On July 27 and 28 bombs explode in Milan and Rome and 'Cosa Nostra' takes an initiative unprecedented claims the attacks in style and raises the bar Brigades threatening a new massacre with the 'guarantee of hundreds of deaths'. Maybe it's the notice of the planned massacre at the Olympic Stadium which, fortunately, it will fail. Go ahead. On November 1, 1993 expires another block of steps 41a, but in the meantime 'Cosa Nostra' is silent. Unexpectedly, three days after that deadline, on 4 and 6 November, the Minister of Justice does not extend the 41a to 140 inmates in the prison dell'Ucciardone of Palermo. It can be inferred that the 'treaty-blackmail' has produced its effects between July 29 and November 6? It 'still possible that both the mafia organization had interpreted the withdrawal as a surrender or a concession by the State for the shocks and that, therefore, the campaign stragista were to go forward. Especially since 31 January 1994 would have expired the most important measure in listed some of the most authoritative boss 'Cosa Nostra': Gerlando Alberti, Bernardo Brusca, Pippo Calo, Stefano Boyfriends, James Gambino, Salvatore Greek, Luciano Liggio, Francesco Madonia, etc. .. This would strengthen if the date of attempted murder at the Olympic Stadium was as described by G. Spatuzza: namely, January 23, 1994, during the football match Roma-Udinese. Of course, these synchronicities to be treated with caution, because the continental massacres were planned well in advance. We must also consider that, according to the late Dr. Chelazzi, 'the purpose of the massacres is structured progressively with the drivers and other issues that have been added along the way', perhaps causing variations from the original program. In any case, the fact remains that there was the second withdrawal, that the massacre at the Olimpico was never attempted and that the State did not buckle. Indeed, went gradually intensifying prevention and law enforcement, activities that would become sustainable or to the center-left governments or with the center-right. "

"The season of terrible massacres - Pisanu continues in its conclusions - closed January 27, 1994 with the arrest of the brothers Gravano, the undisputed leaders of the more violent, and with the rise of the 'moderate' Bernardo Provenzano to the top Cosa Nostra. He will push the Mafia to do business, to be sinking ever deeper into the economy and society, silencing the weapons will be the end of 'viddani' Totò Riina, imprisoned and rendered impotent by the rigor of 41a. Even the simple narration of the facts suggests that there were interventions from outside the mafia in the planning and execution of the massacres. Since August of 1993, a report by the DIA, had seen and described 'a combination of horizontal', which includes, in addition to the Mafia, certain Masonic lodges of Palermo and Trapani, subversive groups on the right, officials of the State and infidels corrupt administrators. Along the same lines, while narrowing the field, Dr. Lari Caltanissetta prosecutor argued recently that Cosa Nostra was not 'other-directed to other entities', but the table of judgments have been found, next to mobsters, 'diversion of the institutional actors who have betrayed the state with the aim of destabilizing the country ... by providing a strategic and military know-how'. In July, the same Dr. Lari had anticipated that, following the statements of Spatuzza, 'the investigation has left the track purely mafia link to find out a pact between the bosses of the Cosa Nostra and the Secret Service'. Probably with Ciancimino Provenzano was a prominent figure in negotiations of this kind, while he was Riina, at least in part, in the mail. 'Negotiations' complex and still obscure, in which they entered in various ways, for convergence of interests, different subjects, but all have a real bargaining power to put on the plate. Otherwise 'Cosa Nostra' he would have refused. Precisely because of this apparent complexity, or guess, we must beware of making generalizations, simplifications such as: a testimony on 'hearsay' evidence needs goals el'accostamento arbitrary number of pieces of truth can give us, at most, only a guess. I refer particularly to the strictly political dimension of the negotiation and, in particular, to the political interests of the mafia in the period of the massacres. Killed, or threatened with death or abandoned its traditional referents, 'Cosa Nostra' was struggling to orient and build new alliances in a political context that, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, was already disintegrating under the blows of tangentopoli and those of the same murder. So much so that he sought a solution, building its own regional party, 'Sicilia Libera', which then sought to spend on the national political scene, still too confused and uncertain. Therefore, it is likely that following the arrest of the brothers and the defeat of the wing Graviano stragista, 'Cosa Nostra' has been adapted to the new order of Bernardo Provenzano has been put to the window, waiting for what would happen after Ciampi's resignation of the Government (January 13, 1994), the dissolved and early elections. Since then, the military arm locked, 'Cosa Nostra' has certainly kept his relationships, his business, his power. But since then he has lost almost all its major exponents, while in Sicily has greatly increased social opposition to the mafia that has its heroes and its civilian targets and carry out very close to the judiciary and the police. Even for this - the president concluded Pisanu - "Cosa Nostra" has perhaps given up the idea of face as an equal with the state, but it certainly has not given up politics. On the contrary, with the expansion of its economic power has always felt more the need to protect its business and its men. Especially with the instruments of urban policy, regional, national and European level. But at this point we enter the second phase of our program of work: the fight against mafia and Italian foreign economic and financial side: the new frontier antimafia.
